Don't Forget to Fill Out Your Profile(s)!

We are gaining new members every day from all over the world. It is an amazing thing to see happen and I couldn't be happier. To those of you that have signed up and become a founding member of Gamer Seeking Gamer, I say "thank you"!

This is just a quick reminder to make sure you fill out the profiles you want to use in order to find people to play games with. You can use any or all of the 4 available profiles in order to show what kind of a gamer you are and what you're looking for.

The "Table Top Gamer" profile has all the information you need to find other players in your area that play any game that belongs on a table top.

The "Table Top Host" profile is very useful for those of you that want to get people together and run a game. You can include specialized information to detail what you're looking for in players (and their characters, when applicable).

Some examples of Table Top Games:

-- Board Games could be Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, Trivial Pursuit, or any other board-based game! We are currently adding more titles to this list, too!

-- Card or Dice Games would would included classics such as Yahtzee or Rummy but also includes Uno, Dominion, and Zombie Dice!

-- Collectible Item Games are games like Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon, Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures, Mage Knight, and Dragon Dice!

-- Role Playing Games both new and old are included, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, d20 Modern (or Future, or Past), Marvel Super Heroes RPG, Shadowrun, Star Wars RPG, Boot Hill, Warhammer RPG, RIFTS, and many, many more!

-- War/Strategy games include Risk, Axis & Allies, Memoir '44, Paths of Glory, and War of the Ring!

For you online players, we have 2 profiles as well. The "Online Gamer" profile allows you to not only list the games you play, how you play them, and when you play them, but you can also detail what servers you play on and, when applicable, provide faction and character details, including a place to provide a link to your character's build from another site (such as ZAM).

For clans and guilds, we have provided a profile where you can detail your clan or guild, when you're active, what you're looking for in recruits, what the process is, and what your expectations are of your members. If your guild plays multiple games, you can list them as well!

Some examples of Online Games are World of Warcraft, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Madden Football, Rift, Star Wars: the Old Republic, Diablo, Neverwinter Nights, Ultima Online, Everquest, APB: Reload, Halo, and ANY other game you can play online.

If your game isn't listed, you can type it in, and we strongly urge you to make certain the spelling is correct so that someone else that is looking for that game title will be able to find you.

We want to be THE place to go in order to find people to play games with. To do that, we need not just members, but members with active and filled out profiles.
